Inevitably, as administrations come and go there will be new laws and requirements regarding pharmacy.

When bills are introduced, the APCI Legislative Team goes to work determining whether the legislation is beneficial to its members, lobbies to have friendly items passed and harmful items removed and stays in touch with House and Senate members from each APCI state to remind them how vital pharmacy is to the financial and physical wellbeing of the American people.

After legislation has passed into law, the issues transition to the Professional Affairs Division, where APCI staff work diligently to keep members aware of new requirements and laws concerning pharmacy. Our goal is to do as much of the footwork as possible so that you can spend less time worrying about regulations and more time filling prescriptions and counseling patients.
