BESSEMER, AL – October 9, 2014 – American Pharmacy Cooperative, Inc. (APCI) a member-owned group purchasing organization comprised of over 1,300 independent pharmacies acknowledged today the expansion of their partnership with PrescribeWellness. APCI and PrescribeWellness announce the launch of PRO Wellness, the industry’s first consolidated platform to provide APCI’s Managed Care members of American Pharmacy Network Services (APNS), the tools they need to become the top performing network in the country.
APCI and PrescribeWellness, the SaaS Company with a cloud-based platform that delivers efficient patient communications and related services to community pharmacists, will kick off their partnership and demonstrate the powerful new APCI PRO Wellness dashboard at the National Community Pharmacy Association’s 116th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition held October 18-22, 2014 in Austin, Texas.

It will also allow for segmentation of performance by diagnosis group, PBM, and payer to identify high performance areas and target those in need of improvement.
PRO Wellness will allow for the seamless integration of data from the APCI’s Pharmacy Retail Operations (PRO) financial dashboard combined with PrescribeWellness’ STAR ratings technologies making the new platform a robust single source hybrid of clinical and financial resources. Its functionality elevates the member pharmacist’s ability to enhance the level of patient care while simultaneously providing performance indicators to achieve the highest levels of efficiencies.
