We are excited about the debut of the all-new APCI website! The new site features an entirely new design, is easier to navigate, and includes all the news and information our members need!
There are a lot of changes to the site, so here are a few items APCI members should keep in mind when visiting the new site:
The web address and login information are the same as before
You will still
visit www.apcinet.com to view the site,
and you will use your current login information on the new site as well.
You need to use a
modern browser
For the best browsing experience, we recommend using a
browser that properly displays modern website technology. This means using Internet Explorer 11 or recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
The site will NOT display properly in Internet Explorer 8 or
earlier. Users who visit the site using one of these older browsers will
receive an error message alerting them to upgrade to a more modern browser.
No more Compatibility
View
Internet Explorer users who have added the APCI website to
their Compatibility View mode should remove the site from Compatibility View.
Here’s how:
- In Internet Explorer, go to Tools and select Compatibility View settings.
- In the window that opens, look at the list under “Websites you’ve added to Compatibility View”.
- If apcinet.com is shown in the list,
single-click on the apcinet.com name, then click the “Remove” button to the
right of the list.
- Click “Close” and you’re all done!
Logging in to the site
On the home page, in the upper-right corner of the site, you will see a link marked “Login”. Click this link to be taken to the login page. Follow the same procedure to log in that you use now.
The Welcome Page
When you log in to the site, you will be taken to a Welcome page with APCI’s latest news and Quick Links tailored to the APCI services to which each member subscribes.
Quick Links
We’ve tried to make the site easier to navigate, and so each section within the site has its own sections of “Quick Links” in the right sidebar, to help keep you from having to return to the main navigation to find what you want.
Updated News
Much of the information on the site is now posted as news articles within each section of the site. This format allows us at APCI to post articles that are relevant to our members on a daily basis, or even multiple times a day!
Searchable
The new APCI website is searchable! Click the magnifying glass icon at the top right corner of the page to open a search box. Enter your search term or keyword into the search field, and press enter to open a list of all the pages and articles on the site that contain your search terms.
Reorganized
The site has been completely reorganized to help our members find the information they need quickly and easily.
Reports
The site’s reporting functions will remain the same as with the old site. You can find standard reports under the Reports menu at the top of each page.
Generic information galore
Our weekly Generic Bulletins have been transformed into news articles that are searchable as well!
Easy to find vendor information
We’ve made it simple to find information on APCI’s approved vendors. On the Approved Vendors page, you can choose from a drop-down list of vendors sorted alphabetically, or you can choose from a listing of vendors sorted by category. Each vendor has their own page with contact information as well as current news and promotions for that particular vendor.
Easy signups for APCI programs
We’ve included online forms that allow you to quickly and easily sign up for APCI’s popular programs, such as the monthly circular program and the Every Door Direct Mail program.
Responsive design
Working with a tablet or a smartphone? The new APCI site works with you! The new site has been designed to work elegantly with any mobile device so you can get the information you need when and where you need it.
We’ve worked hard during the past year to create a website that not only provides our members with the information they need, but that also represents the professionalism and dedication of APCI.
We hope you find the site useful. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Richard Kirby, Web and Marketing Communications Specialist, at richardk@apcinet.com.
