Mirixa is pleased to introduce the United HealthCare Medicare &
Retirement (UHC M&R) Adherence Conversion
Program, which will launch on March 14, 2016. This new program reflects the
growing trend in healthcare where payment is based on outcome rather than
service.
The UHC M&R Adherence Conversion Program will pay $50.00 for the successful
conversion of an identified medication from a 30-day supply to a 90-day supply.
The program is designed to be brief, lasting from 5 to 10 minutes.
The new prescription for a 90-day supply must be dispensed within
60 days of providing the service to the patient and the payment will occur
after the new 90 day prescription is filled and billed through UHC. Retail
pharmacies are uniquely positioned to make this program a success. Success may
create further opportunities for this program, so be sure to begin addressing
