NEW FEATURE: 2015 Calendar Year (Year-to-Date) Data Segment

With the February release, you can now see your 2015 calendar-year performance scores in EQuIPP for the health plans who have partnered with us.  This is listed under the "Year-to-Date" button shown below. This feature will be available moving forward, providing you the opportunity to see how you performed for the entire calendar year of January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2015.

Please Note: Most Year-to-Date performance scores are further from the stated goals when compared to the 6-month trending performance scores. This is due to patient populations differing between a 6-month and a Year-to-Date measurement period. For adherence (PDC) measures, the difference is primarily due to accrued non-adherence throughout the longer calendar year measurement period. For safety measures, like High-Risk Medications(HRM), the rates will be higher due to the longer measurement period capturing more HRM use.

Please look to the FAQ tab in EQuIPP for an explanation of the differences in measurement period timing and examples of differences in performance scores across data segments.

As you review your EQuIPP dashboard, please note that the Analyze Performance section of your dashboard is also updated with the release of the Year-to-Date feature. If you are looking at the 2015 Year-to-Date dashboard information, the Quality Improvement Programs and Insurance Mix tables will also be adjusted to reflect this new information.

The 2015 Year-to-Date information will continue to be available in EQuIPP going forward.  As we move through the 2016 calendar year, the Year-to-Date section will be further updated once enough data is available to make a Year-to-Date assessment (i.e. January-July, January-August, etc.). Additional communications will be sent once new Year-to-Date data is available for the 2016 calendar year.
