Aetna 30-90 Day Conversion Program has Returned

$25 payment for Patient Acceptance of a Conversion

 The Aetna 30-90 Day Conversion Program will relaunch soon with the continuing goal of converting patients from a 30-day fill schedule to a 90-day fill schedule to promote patient adherence.   Cases will begin to arrive in pharmacy queues in mid-June, 2016.

There have been two notable changes to this year’s program.   The Aetna 30-90 Day Conversion Program payment schedule has been updated.  Aetna will now pay $10 for each served case and an additional $15 for each targeted prescription the patient agrees to convert to a 90 day fill schedule.  Patients may be eligible for multiple 30-90 day conversions. Each patient acceptance of a 90 day prescription conversion within a case will garner a $15 payment to the pharmacy.     Secondly, there will not be an opportunity to extend the performance date for these cases.  Your pharmacy will be provided with a 30 day window to conduct these cases.  Since no extensions will be allowed, please work these cases at your earliest convenience.

Patients have proven to be very accepting of this 30-90 conversion program because it is a quick interaction with their pharmacist.  We encourage you to check your case queue and engage your patients (either via phone or face-to-face) to provide this valuable service.  Thank you!
