Healthfirst is an existing client with CVS Caremark®. Effective October 1, 2016, Healthfirst members will be transitioned to a limited network that continues to meet member access requirements.
What this means to you:
As a participating provider in this custom network, you can continue to provide pharmacy services for Healthfirst members.
Current claims processing information will not change
RXBIN and RXGRP information will remain the same; make sure your patient profiles reflect the current RXBIN and RXGRP indicated on this notice.
Continue to submit claims with the insurance information shown on the member’s ID card.
Help members transfer their prescriptions from nonparticipating pharmacies to your pharmacy when requested using your standard protocol:
o Use information provided from members’ prescription labels when presented; or
o Direct/assist members in calling the customer care number on the back of their ID card.
