Beginning July 1, 2017, the Georgia Families® program will provide members a choice of four Care Management Organizations (CMOs): Amerigroup, CareSource, Peach State Health Plan, and WellCare. Members will have the opportunity to select one of the four CMOs during the upcoming Open Enrollment period which will take place from March 1, 2017 through March 31, 2017. Upon completion of the Georgia Families Open Enrollment process, members will be enrolled with a CMO and will begin receiving services under the new CMO contracts which are effective July 1, 2017.   

Amerigroup will continue to provide services to foster care, adoption assistance, and select juvenile justice members enrolled in the Georgia Families 360° program.

APNS was able to confirm - with Caremark - that APNS pharmacies will be included in CMO contracts for Georgia Medicaid as long as the pharmacy has a Georgia Medicaid provider number and they appear on the daily roster file that Caremark receives from the Medicaid plans.  Caremark relies solely on this roster for eligible pharmacies, per the State of Georgia.
