Effective March 1, 2017, Alogliptin, Alogliptin-Metformin HCL, and Alogliptin-Pioglitazone will become the preferred products. Previously, BCBSIL Medicaid preferred Januvia, Janumet, and Janumet XR. This change will apply to Medicaid Covered Persons of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois & New Mexico.
