In accordance with Kentucky MAC law (Ky.Rev.Stat.Ann. §304.17A-162), the CVS Caremark® Pharmacy Portal may reflect products, as applicable, for which MAC adjustments with retroactive effective dates have been made as a result of granted MAC appeals.
Pharmacies that filled prescriptions on or after the retroactive effective date for patients covered under the same health benefit plan can reverse and resubmit the claim in order to receive payment based on the adjusted maximum allowable cost.
Individual unit MAC prices can be viewed through the use of the CVS Caremark price look up function of the Pharmacy Portal located at: https://rxservices.cvscaremark.com
