Aetna Better Health of Illinois is a current plan sponsor with CVS Caremark®. As of March 6, 2017, Illinois Medicaid requires all Prescribers to be registered with Illinois IMPACT provider system. Prescriptions written by Prescribers who are not registered in the IMPACT system will reject with the following or similar message:

Reject 25: <<Prescriber invalid/not contracted with plan>>

If you have a member who has an initial or refill prescription written by a Prescriber who is not registered in the IMPACT system, please contact the provider number on the prescription to obtain a prescription written by a Prescriber who is registered in the IMPACT system.

A one-time emergency fill will be allowed for a 30-day supply by calling the Pharmacy Help Desk at 1-855-364-2973.
