Effective May 15, 2017, acne medications used
primarily for acne will be covered for Covered Persons of Blue Cross Blue
Shield of Illinois and New Mexico Medicaid 25 years of age and younger. Covered
Person’s over the age of 25 will require a Prior Authorization. Please see the
attachments below for further processing instructions.
