Effective June 27, 2017, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana will no longer allow the Emergency Refill Too Soon (RTS) Override for Commercial and Exchange members affected by tropical storm Cindy. This override was initially scheduled to be effective until July 20, 2017.

Please note: the override is still in effect for Medicare members. If Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Medicare members from the disaster area attempt to fill prescriptions for lost or damaged medication, and the claims reject with NCPDP reject 79 "Refill Too Soon," the pharmacy should enter override code 91100000001 in NCPDP vD.0 field 462-EV "Prior Auth Number Submitted". This override code for Medicare members is effective through July 20, 2017.
