McKesson released a Service Level update on Atenolol, related to an industry-wide disruption due to API issues (GCNs 20660, 20661, and 20662). Sandoz has advised they will be releasing more inventory in September, but will be discontinuing these GCNs thereafter. McKesson is treating this matter as top priority and working with other manufacturers to secure supply to meet full demand.

McKesson is monitoring carefully the impact of these shortages on store-level compliance measures to ensure that customers are not adversely affected.
