CareSource is an existing plan sponsor with CVS Caremark®. Effective September 1, 2017, claims submitted for multi-source brand drugs will reject with the following or similar message:
Reject 70: <<Generic Substitution Required>>
DAW 1 and DAW 2 will not be accepted. Prior authorization will be required for members to receive brand drugs when generics are available.
