Dear APNS Member Pharmacy (VA, NC and SC):

APNS has executed an agreement with CVS Caremark for the South Atlantic Regional Network on behalf of our Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina member pharmacies.   

Please see the following details related to this network:  

• This is a tri-state (VA, NC and SC) regional network being built at the request of Aetna for their small group, fully insured exchange business, but could be used by other clients.
• The VA regional network that providers may have already elected to participate in will still be available to clients should they choose to use it.  This tri-state regional network is in addition to the VA Regional Network.
• The estimated number of potential lives is 50,000 per state.
• This was a solicitation for three Any Willing Provider states.
