CVS Caremark : MEDICARE PART D - 2017 ANNUAL GENERAL COMPLIANCE and FWA TRAINING

Author: Erica Lawrence/Wednesday, December 6, 2017/Categories: APCI Choice

To comply with CMS regulations, CVS Caremark requires all contracted network pharmacies to complete General Compliance and Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) training.

For details on these regulations and the consequences for non-compliance, see Appendix C of your Provider Manual or access the CVS Caremark website (www.Caremark.com/PharmInfo), Training Regulations – Instructions and FAQs.

As a contracted provider with the CVS Caremark Medicare Part D networks, an authorized individual having responsibility for all employees who have been identified as being involved directly or indirectly with the administration or delivery of the Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Benefit, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, must attest to the completion of Medicare Parts C and D General Compliance and Combating Medicare Parts C and D Fraud, Waste, and Abuse trainings.
