On November 30, 2017, Simple Diagnostics announced a voluntary recall of some lots of Pharmacist Choice Alcohol Prep Pads because of the lack of sterility assurance and other quality issues.

Per Simple Diagnostics, use of these products could cause infections.

OptumRx notified members who may be affected by this recall. These members were provided information to help them identify if their product is being recalled and advised not to use the recalled product. In the future, these members may inquire about the Pharmacist Choice Alcohol Prep Pads you dispensed.
