We are currently experiencing frequent denials at the point of sale for Member ID format for AmeriHealth VIP Care Plus/Michigan. This is a friendly reminder to submit any claims by the Member’s ID utilizing 9 bytes in length, all numeric without a suffix. Member’s Group ID or person code is not required for claims processing and will result in the rejection at the point of sale.
