The MedCare® Pharmacy Networks Policies and Procedures Manual (“Provider Manual”) has been updated and is available on the MedImpact website under the Pharmacy Portal at: https://mp.medimpact.com/pharmacyportal/public/Frameset.jsp?forwardUrl=/pharmacyportal/public/PoliciesProcedures.jsp

Please be aware that updates have been made throughout the manual, including in connection with the following: Claims Submission (Section 5), Taxes (Section 5.6), Format Submission Requirements (Section 5.8), Termination for Default (Section 12.2), and Exchange or Marketplace (Section 17.8).

In addition, the Regulatory Addendums have been updated, including the following State Regulatory Addendums (under Addendum B): California, Colorado, Hawaii, Kentucky, Montana, Nevada, North Dakota, Virginia, and West Virginia. Further, Addendum C (Medicaid Regulatory Addenda), the California Medicaid Addendum and the Minnesota Medicaid Addendum (under Addendum C) have been updated.

Effective immediately or such later time period required by law (“Effective Date”), per your MedCare® Pharmacy Network Agreement (“Agreement”) with MedImpact, the Agreement is hereby amended as set forth in the updated Provider Manual, which is incorporated into and made a part of your Agreement with MedImpact. The updated Provider Manual replaces the prior version of the Provider Manual as of the Effective Date. Except as modified by this amendment, all terms and conditions of the Agreement (as may have been amended from time to time) shall remain in full force and effect.
