Claims submitted on 01/01/2018 for CountyCare Health plan, an Illinois Medicaid plan, may have been inadvertently rejected with the message of “Member Not Eligible.” The eligibility file was corrected in the late afternoon on 01/01/2018 and claims have been correctly processing. If your pharmacy received a rejected claim on 01/01/2018, we ask that you resubmit. If the claim continues to reject for member not eligible, the member should call the number on their ID card to determine the cause. In particular, members that had Aetna IL Medicaid coverage in Cook County and transitioned to CountyCare, effective 01/01/2018, may have experienced this inadvertent rejection.
