Effective 3/1/2018, we’re enhancing the drug-drug interaction cDUR edit alert to help improve patient safety while still helping ensure members receive the appropriate medications. There will be a soft reject for claims submitted when a UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Arizona member shows concurrent use of Opioids + Benzodiazepines.

How This Affects

You When you submit a claim that is identified as an interaction, soft reject DUR 88 will display the following message about drug-drug interaction:
