Effective Feb. 3, Express Scripts will be temporarily using the DUR codes in the chart below instead of the conflict codes we originally communicated in the Jan. 31 Network Pharmacy Weekly newsletter.

Express Scripts will begin generating two new CDUR edits at the point of sale for opioids for all clients. Both edits will present as a warning message and are intended to remind clinicians that if an opioid is required for acute pain, the lowest dose and shortest duration should be prescribed.
