OptumRx administers pharmacy benefits for UnitedHealthcare Medicare plans. Starting March 1, 2018, UnitedHealthcare will enforce the number of refills and time limit allowed for Schedule II – Schedule V Controlled Substances as specified under federal and state regulations for select Medicare plans.
