Starting February 19, 2018, you’ll be able to complete comprehensive medication reviews and medication therapy management (MTM) services through OutcomesMTM® for eligible UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage benefit plan members who have Medicare Part D coverage. OutcomesMTM is a Cardinal Health company.

What This Means for You

With our medication therapy management program, we aim to increase members’ medication adherence while helping to lower the risk for side effects and drug interactions. As part of this program, retail pharmacies in the UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage network can access the online OutcomesMTM Connect™ Platform to complete comprehensive medication review consults when our members pick up their next prescription.

The OutcomesMTM Connect Platform receives UnitedHealthcare’s MTM eligibility lists from OptumRx every day so you have the most current information about members who are eligible for a comprehensive medication review.

With an earlier launch this year, you’ll have more opportunities to complete a member’s medication review.
