The CVS Caremark Pharmacy Performance Department is providing network pharmacies with a reminder regarding your contractual requirements with respect to collection of Patient Pay Amounts and maintaining documentation of proof of payment. This information will assist your pharmacy in complying with the CVS Caremark Provider Agreement (which includes the Provider Manual) and to prevent audit chargebacks. This information was previously communicated to you in May 2017.
