Dear APCI members,

Congress will soon be taking a crucial vote on budget reconciliation, a vote that will set spending levels for federal programs across the country. As such, APCI is pressing to include Wyden-Grassley Medicaid managed care prescription drug reforms in the budget via the reconciliation process.

It is critical that the voices of independent pharmacists, patients, and other stakeholders are heard loudly at this time. We must continue to shine a bright light on abusive PBM practices that limit patient choice, waste taxpayer dollars, and continue to put locally-owned independent pharmacies out of business.

The Wyden-Grassley reforms will both prohibit PBM spread pricing in Medicaid Managed Care and also require PBMs to reimbuse pharmacies at NADAC plus a fair dispensing fee.

NOW is the time to call your members of Congress on this vital issue!
