Urge the Federal Trade Commission
to Investigate PBM Practices!

Dear APCI members,

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will be voting on Thursday whether to launch a study into PBM practices. This is a major development; if the vote passes, the FTC will be able to essentially subpoena the PBMs for documents and contracts that have long been held as "trade secrets" by these middlemen, and the FTC will have the power to shine a light into the "black box" of PBM practices.

As part of the process, the FTC is asking for public comments on the vote. Share your stories of how PBM practices have harmed your patients and your business, and urge the commissioners to vote in favor of the study!

Time is of the essence: Comments must be submitted no later than 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, for consideration.
