APCI Celebrates Another Great Annual Convention in Nashville

APCI 2025 hosted the Annual Convention and Stockholders Meeting March 20-23, in Nashville, TN at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. The meeting boasted 42 vendors, 140 Pharmacies with 273 attendees - which was the second highest attendance next to Savannah with 319.

The attendees learned from national experts on topics including drug supply chain tracking, immunization updates, cybersecurity and advocacy.

The 2026 APCI Annual Convention and Stockholders Meeting will be in Louisville, KY. Watch for more details.

APCI Election Results: 1 New Board Member,  2 Reelected

APCI Board of Directors members Carl Bode, Patrick Devereux, and Randy Kassissieh

At the 2025 APCI Annual Convention and Shareholders Meeting, Board Incumbents Carl Bode and Patrick Devereux were reelected to the board; and Randy Kassissieh is a new member.

Mr. Bode graduated from St. Louis School of Pharmacy in 1974. He has been in the Pharmacy profession for 50 years and owns two pharmacies. He has been a member of APCI for 21 years and has served on the APCI Board of Directors for 6 years. Carl also has served on the City of Mound City Council for 41 years and FSBO Holdings, a bank holding company for 40 years, 27 as chairman. He is a past member of Southern Foundation and Pulaski 911.

Mr. Devereux is a 2005 Graduate of Samford University.  He has been in the pharmacy profession for 20 years. He current owns Brock’s Gap Pharmacy in Hoover, AL. Patrick has been an APCI member for 17 years and has served on the APCI Board for 6 years. Patrick serves on CPESN Alabama as lead luminary. He is passionate about keeping Independent Pharmacy on a sustainable financial course and elevating the capabilities of our members to allow them to thrive. He is passionate about working to be sure ALL APCI pharmacies are practicing at the top of their license.

Mr. Kassissieh graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2011. Randy has been in the pharmacy profession for 14.5 years. He has been a part-owner in nine pharmacies since 2014. He has been with APCI since 2014. He serves on McKesson NIAB, Arkansas Pharmacist Association Board and Pioneer Rx Advisory Board.

Cash Flow Accelerator Program

APCI Cash Flow Accelerator program logo

Payment increase coming with May 8 Payment

During the Annual Shareholders meeting earlier this month, it was announced that the Cash Flow Accelerator (CFA) payment rate is being raised from 20 percent to 30 percent. The increase will be in effect on the May 8th payment.

To participate in the CFA weekly rebate program, a pharmacy must be compliant for six consecutive months demonstrating consistent earned rebates. For more information on the program, reach out to your APCI Account Representative.
