McKesson OneStop Generics® Price Assurance Promotion Extended through December 31, 2015

McKesson is excited to announce that we have extended the Price Assurance Promotion for ISMC customers through December 31, 2015.
Please note that the promotion has been extended. Between April 1, 2014 and May 31, 2015 the Price Assurance Promotion has provided bottom-line relief to independent retail pharmacies on over 530 items.
As a reminder, this promotion provides a 30-day price safeguard for McKesson OneStop Generics products, excluding controlled substances, in cases where a product’s WAC price increases by over 20% in one day. McKesson will effectively extend the pharmacy’s pre-increase invoice price to the pharmacy’s purchases during the 30-day Price Assurance period, up to a unit limit based on historical purchase patterns.
The promotion will be reviewed on a quarterly basis. Please keep an eye out for future communications as we continue to improve transparency and strengthen our business.

McKesson has been notified of 7 product families representing 13 items that increase in price on July 1, 2015. A customer's purchase of these items will be covered by the Price Assurance Promotion for 30 days following the price assurance start date.
Customers will receive price assurance payments on purchases of eligible product during the 30-day price assurance period, up to a maximum quantity determined by their purchase history. Price assurance will be provided on the difference between the new invoice price and the invoice price before the invoice price increase, multiplied by the eligible quantity.
Items eligible for Price Assurance can be located in McKesson Connect by typing the term “priceassurance2015” in the search bar (the search term is not case sensitive).

Generic Launches
Launch of generic Aggrenox®
Teva launched the generic equivalent of Aggrenox® (Aspirin, Extended-Release Dipyridamole Capsules). The Teva item will be added to the OneStop program in the A slot, with visibility in McKesson Connect on Thursday, July 2, 2015. Inventory is anticipated to be available for purchase on Friday, July 3, 2015. Estimated U.S. brand sales of Aggrenox are approximately $644M.
