APCI ROADSHOW ‘GET INVOLVED’ VIDEO CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES

Overview: APCI is encouraging employees of APCI member pharmacies to create and submit short videos that show how individual pharmacies are supporting APCI efforts through utilizing Preferred Vendor products and services and APCI value-added services.

Eligibility: The 2020 APCI Roadshow “Get Involved” Video Contest is open to current employees of active APCI member pharmacies. Participating pharmacies must maintain a highly-compliant buying status for the duration of the contest. Employees of pharmacies that are not considered highly-compliant are not eligible. Pharmacy buying status is determined solely by APCI. Employees no longer employed by an eligible pharmacy at the conclusion of the contest are not eligible.

Sponsor: The contest is sponsored by American Pharmacy Cooperative, Inc. (APCI), 5601 Shirley Park Drive, Bessemer, Alabama, 35022. APCI is the sole supplier of prizes for the contest.

Agreement: All participants must abide by the official rules (“the rules”) as stated within this document and Sponsor‘s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this contest. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

Submission Period: The submission period begins on 15 July 2020 at 09:00 Central Time (CDT) and ends on 30 September 2020 at 16:00 (CDT). APCI is the official timekeeper for the contest period. Submissions received prior to or after the submission period are void.

Contest Rules: The winner must follow all instructions of APCI and their designated representative(s). If all related instructions are not adhered to, receipt of the prize may be forfeited, in whole or in part. There are no limits to the number of entries per person. Video length: up to 90 seconds maximum. All entries must be in good taste. No rude or vulgar language, no insults, and no plagiarism. All entries must conform to YouTube Community Guidelines and be consistent with the YouTube Terms of Service.

How to Enter: During the contest period, entrants must upload their video submission to YouTube. Following submission of the video to YouTube, entrants must complete the online entry form on the APCI website and include a link to the video. Following review, APCI will share the links in a playlist on the APCI YouTube channel. A separate video release form may be requested and signed for those appearing in a video submission.

Requirements: Videos may be submitted in one of three categories: Customer Testimonial for a product supplied by one of APCI‘s Preferred Vendors (“Customer Testimonial”); a pharmacy testimonial for a value-added service provided by one of APCI‘s Preferred Vendors (“Vendor Testimonial”); or a pharmacy testimonial for one of APCI‘s value added services [Choice Clinical and Claims Management; Pharmacy Retail Operations (PRO); the APCI monthly sales circular program; or Comprehensive Audit Protection Services (CAPS)] (“APCI Testimonial”). Videos may not be longer than 90 seconds in length. Videos must not contain copyrighted material (including music) other than that related to testimonials for APCI Preferred Vendor products and services or APCI value-added services.

“Customer Testimonial” and “Vendor Testimonial” entries related to APCI Preferred Vendors are limited to products and services offered by the following APCI vendors:

Selection of Winners: All contest videos shared on the APCI YouTube channel will be open to public voting as determined by video “likes” on YouTube. APCI‘s YouTube audience will be instructed to vote for their top choices by “liking” the entries. The videos in each category with the most likes beginning July 15, 2020, and concluding on September 30, 2020 October 9, 2020, at 16:00 CDT will be presented to a committee of judges at APCI to determine the winner from each category. Because of the small number of votes at the original deadline, APCI extended the voting deadline to allow for more members to cast their votes.

Winners: APCI will announce the winners from all three categories (Customer Testimonial, Vendor Testimonial, and APCI Testimonial). The winners will be contacted via phone and/or email on or about October 13, 2020. APCI will publicly announce winning entries on or about October 15, 2020. All decisions by the judges are FINAL in all matters relating to this contest.

Prizes: Each winning entry in each category will receive $1,500.00 (USD) in the form of a check sent to the recipient‘s address. Total value of all prizes is $4,500.00 (USD). Prize winners are responsible for all taxes or other associated expenses related to the prize.

Privacy: Contact information will not be passed on to any other companies without your expressed permission.

General Conditions: All contest entries and associated videos will remain the property of the author; however, by submitting an entry to the contest, the author grants APCI full authority to use the submission for marketing, sales, or any other purpose as determined by APCI without further notice or compensation. All contest entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are do not follow the criteria provided; if they are forged, falsified, altered, or interfered with in any way. By entering the Contest, all entrants consent to the use of their image of the video in any future form(s) of publicity of APCI, without further notice or compensation. YouTube does not endorse nor sponsor the contest. Users must release YouTube from any and all liability related to the contest. By participating in this Contest, entrants acknowledge compliance with and agree to be bounded by, all Contest Terms, Conditions, Rules, and Regulations, including eligibility requirements. All Entrants release and hold harmless American Pharmacy Cooperative, Inc., its directors, executives, and staff from and against any and all manner of action, causes of action, suits, debts, covenants, contracts, claims, and demands, including legal fees and expenses, whatsoever, including but not limited to, claims based on negligence, breach of contract and fundamental breach and liability for physical injury, death, or property damage which the entrants or his/her administrators, heirs, successors or assigns might have or could have, by reason of or arising out of the entrant‘s participation in the Contest and/or in connection with the acceptance and/or exercise by the entrant of the Prize awarded.
