Effective March 1, 2017, CVS Caremark®will begin to administer the prescription benefits for Aetna Better Health of Florida.

Molina Healthcare of Florida Molina appreciates your continued support in the health of our members. Medication adherence is extremely important in getting our members to better health. Molina Healthcare of Florida members should NOT be enrolled in any Automatic Refill Program as Automatic Refill dispensing is prohibited by Florida Medicaid. Per RULE: 59G-4.250: Prescribed Drug Services: Each fill (original or refill) must be specifically requested by the member prior to the dispensing of such medication(s). Dispensing scheduled automatic refills without such request is prohibited. Members should not sign waivers that in any way would circumvent the above stated rule.

Effective this month, an additional weekly disbursement will be issued for Florida Medicaid claims, in order to comply with state Medicaid prompt pay requirements. You may receive multiple payments in a given week if applicable to your pharmacy.

Note: Pharmacy network participation varies by plan. Your pharmacy may not participate in all plans.

As previously communicated by Envolve Pharmacy Solutions (formerly US Script) and CVS Caremark®, Sunshine State Health Plan (Sunshine Health) began using the CVS Caremark pharmacy network on July 15, 2016, while claims processing and payment remained with Envolve Pharmacy Solutions. This notice is to inform you that effective March 1, 2017, CVS Caremark will begin to process claims for Sunshine Health. All claims for Sunshine Health will now be reimbursed according to your CVS Caremark Network Enrollment Forms and be paid according to CVS Caremark processing rules and payment cycles, which will appear on your CVS Caremark 835 or remittance advice.
