This week was a busy week in the Legislature! The Senate passed the State’s Education Budget with a few changes back to the House, thus sending the Education Budget to a Conference Committee.
Thanks to all the CONTACTS you made, HB 58 was reported out favorably by the Senate Finance & Taxation General Fund Committee on April 20.

HB 58 will be on the Senate Finance & Taxation General Fund Committee agenda, Wednesday, April 20th at 9:30 AM. It is imperative that you make CONTACT now with Committee Members.

KPhA's top priority for this legislative session, SB 117 was signed by Gov. Matt Bevin on Saturday, April 9.
Every independent pharmacist, pharmacy owner, and staff member needs to reach out and contact their local Senator and Representative and ask them to support HB 456 Pharmacy Benefit Prompt Pay Act.
