What is PRO Analytics?

PRO Analytics is a dashboard made available to APCI’s PRO members which is accessible through the PRO Wellness platform. The information contained in the PRO Analytics Dashboard is meant to serve as an up-to-date financial barometer and to allow members continuous monitoring of various functions pertaining to their everyday business operations. Within the PRO Analytics Dashboard you will find calculations for revenue, script count, gross profit, gross margin, generic utilization, cash BIN percentages, and receivable days. These measures can be filtered over a variety of time periods (month-to-date, quarter-to-date, year-to-date, etc.) as well as filters for payers, physicians, and NDC’s.  

What is the difference between
PRO Wellness and PRO Analytics?

PRO Wellness is the product of APCI’s partnership with PrescribeWellness, and it is the main platform for all of your pharmacy’s clinical and patient connections data. PRO Analytics is a dashboard product that is accessible within the PRO Wellness site. This dashboard combines financial data with patient and PBM data to give pharmacy owners valuable insight into the financial health of their business.

How is PRO Analytics able to deliver this information?

The data used to populate the PRO Analytics dashboard is obtained from pharmacy dispensing and electronic claims processing systems, as well as APCI rebate and dividend information for gross profit and margin calculations. PrescribeWellness retrieves and processes this data for viewing within the framework of the PRO Wellness and PRO Analytics Dashboards.

Is patient data secure?

Yes, all data obtained for the PRO Wellness and PRO Analytics Dashboards is secure. PrescribeWellness and APCI comply with all HIPAA regulations in relation to patient data and all communications pertaining to this data.

How do I access PRO Analytics?

To access the login screen, go to On the home page, scroll down to "Services" and click on the PRO Wellness Login icon. In the window that opens, login with your email address and password.  If you have not logged in before or don't know your password, click on the "Forgot password" link, enter your email address and select the "Restore" button. The system will send you an email with a link to set your password. Once you log in, you will see the PRO Wellness dashboard.  Select the Pro Analytics tab at the top of the screen to access your pharmacy's financials.

Who can access PRO Analytics?

Initial PRO Analytics access will be granted to the stockholder of record on the PRO enrollment form. Additional users can be granted access to your pharmacy’s PRO Analytics Dashboard by contacting PrescribeWellness.

How do I filter the data to view specific time periods or other criteria?

To filter the data, you will use the filter drop-down menus on the left side of the screen. The available filters are: year; time period (year-to-date, quarter-to-date, month-to-date and week-to-date, as well as the specific quarter/month/week); payer; margin percentage range; physician and drug name/class. Once you select the appropriate combination of filters for the data you wish to see, you will click the “Search” button to refresh the data.

How do I view scripts filled at a loss?

One of the important options available within the PRO Analytics Dashboard is the ability to filter script claims that were filled at a loss. By changing the margin filter to the “Less than 0” option then clicking on the “Search” button, the results will be updated to show scripts filled at a loss during the specified time period.

How do I view all of my stores if I have multiple pharmacy locations?

If you have multiple pharmacy locations, you can still access them with a single login ID.  Once you login, you will a see a ‘gear’ icon at the top right of your home page.  Simply click this gear and select ‘Login as’ from the menu that pops up.  This will take you to a new webpage where you will be able to select any of your pharmacy locations.
