Upon graduating from the University of Kentucky Pharmacy school, Larry went to work for a large regional chain called Begley Drugs. During the 13 years he spent at Begley Drugs, he became the Director of Operations until 1988, when Begley Drugs sold to Rite-Aid.

Larry continued working for Rite Aid for 14 years and eventually became a Regional Vice President. In 2002, Larry took a position with Pharmerica, a long-term care pharmacy, as the General Manager. In 2004, Larry decided to venture out from Primerica and opened a new pharmacy in Frankfort with Wayne Morris called Wayne’s Pharmacy. Larry also is a partner in a store in Crestwood, KY called Crestwood Drug. In addition to the two stores that Larry has ownership in, he also is managing 4 additional stores in Southeast Kentucky in the London area. Larry has been an active member of NCPA, APCI, and KPh.A (Kentucky Pharmacists Association) for years.
