Since 1984, APCI has been the ‘united voice of independent pharmacy’

APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

OptumRx: Downtime Notification

Effective Thursday, December 29 from 11:00PM (PT) until 12:00AM (PT) Sunday, December 30

OptumRx will be performing un-scheduled maintenance to our claim processing system on Thursday, December 29 from 11:00p.m. (PT) until 12:00 a.m. (PT) December 30. Actual maintenance time required for this outage may be reduced, at which point OptumRx will resume processing claims and other functions earlier.

Pharmacies will be unable to process claims during the scheduled outage. The Pharmacy Help Desk will not be able to answer eligibility or benefit questions during this down time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

CVS Caremark®: Envolve Pharmacy Solutions - Medicare Part D Transition Policy & Temporary Supply Claims Processing

If a health plan member and a drug are eligible for a transition fill, the claim will automatically approve without the need for the pharmacy to submit an override code. If a claim does not approve and the pharmacy believes the health plan member and the drug should be eligible under the Medicare Part D or MMP Transition Policy, the pharmacy should call the CVS Caremark Pharmacy Help Desk at 1-888-865-6567 to request a temporary supply override.
