The governor of Florida has declared a State of Emergency for the entire state due to Hurricane Matthew. The governor of North Carolina has declared a State of Emergency due to Hurricane Matthew for the counties of Alamance, Anson, Beaufort, Bertie, Bladen, Brunswick, Camden, Carteret, Caswell, Chatham, Chowan, Columbus, Craven, Cumberland, Currituck, Dare, Davidson, Davie, Duplin, Durham, Edgecombe, Forsyth, Franklin, Gates, Granville, Greene, Guilford, Halifax, Harnett, Hertford, Hoke, Hyde, Johnston, Jones, Lee, Lenoir, Martin, Montgomery, Moore, Nash, New Hanover, Northampton, Onslow, Orange, Pamlico, Pasquotank, Pender, Perquimans, Person, Pitt, Randolph, Richmond, Robeson, Rockingham, Sampson, Scotland, Stokes, Surry, Tyrrell, Vance, Wake, Warren, Washington, Wayne, Wilson, and Yadkin.
As a result of this issuance, Express Scripts has implemented Emergency Refill Too Soon Procedures in the State of Florida, and the North Carolina counties listed above for Part D and Medicare Advantage plans. Commercial and Health Plans may also implement Emergency Refill Too Soon Procedures, at their discretion.
