APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

no longer in effect.

In response to the current emergency situation in the Southern California region, Kaiser
Permanente has approved the following immediate action to ensure continuity of care for
members.

If a Southern California Kaiser Permanente member indicates that he/she is impacted by the
current emergency situation due to Bogart Fire - Riverside County, CA, as an Optum Network
Pharmacy, you should:

MagellanRx: HOLY INNOCENTS EPISCOPAL SCHOOL

As of September 1st 2016, the Rx processing information for HOLY INNOCENTS EPISCOPAL SCHOOL employees has changed. As a result of this change, members have received new ID cards and with a new RxGRP and ID NUMBER for prescription claims processing.

CVS Caremark® Updates to Performance Drug List October 1, 2016

CVS Caremark manages multiple drug lists. Within the therapeutic categories represented, identification of
preferred drugs may help optimize clinical results and economic value for your patients. The drug lists include
preferred products within 80 percent to 90 percent of the top therapeutic categories that affect our clients
prescription drug spend. Updates or changes to these lists may affect cost share for your patients.

OptumRx: First Farmers Insurance Wrap Plan

First Farmers Wrap Plan pays secondary to Medicare Part D. Pharmacies must submit claims to
the member’s Medicare D coverage first, then submit the Medicare D copay as secondary to
the First Farmers’ Wrap Plan. This will process to OptumRx under: BIN: 610127, PCN 04000013,
GROUP: 01961925, OTHER COVERAGE CODE 8. The member is responsible for the copay
returned from the second pharmacy submission. Pharmacies needing assistance may call our
Customer Service at 1-877-559-2955. Please request a copy of the member’s ID Card. Please do
not refer members back to their Plan Sponsor.
