On January 14, 2016, Kedrion Biopharma announced a recall of one lot of RhoGAM due to a shipping error which resulted in the distribution of RhoGAM with non-English labeling. The recalled product had not received clearance by a branch of the FDA and is considered misbranded. Per Kedrion Biopharma, use of the recalled RhoGAM may result in administration error or use where contraindicated. Catamaran, an OptumRx Company, notified members who may be affected by this recall. These members were provided information to help them identify if their medication is being recalled. In the future, these members may inquire about the RhoGAM prescription(s) you dispensed.
