• As previously mentioned, Coventry/Aetna Part D processed through Express Scripts (ESI) announced and implemented a transition claims processing fix as of 1/12/15 that was to work for most pharmacies (those currently contracted with Aetna’s Premier Preferred Network – their broadest network).

On Monday, January 12, 2015, APNS member pharmacies were sent notification of an Aetna Medicare Alert indicating temporary member access at a Non-Participating pharmacy.  This was Aetna's attempt to ensure their members could easily access the drugs they needed in spite of Aetna's recent mishap with communication.
