CMS has initiated a project to replace the Health Insurance Claim Number (HICN) with a new Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI). The new MBI will not include the beneficiary’s Social Security Number.

Effective January 1, 2018, Navitus Health Solutions began processing pharmacy claims for Southwestern/Great American, Inc. members located in Tennessee.
