For 2016, APNS member pharmacies will be “participating” in ALL AETNA Medicare Part D plans; however, APNS pharmacies are NOT contracted as “preferred” pharmacies – meaning, if the plan is preferred, there will be a copay differential for the patient’s filling prescriptions at an APNS pharmacy.

This notification is to advise pharmacy providers of future formulary changes in the MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. Medicare Part D Formularies. These changes will go into effect in 60 days coinciding with CMS required 60 days notice to Beneficiaries of any negative formulary changes.  

Effective 08/01/2015, the structure of the drugs listed in the following table has been changed. You may proceed with these changes on August 1, 2015 unless otherwise notified under separate cover. The reason for the change is also noted below.
