Aetna/Coventry Part D Status Report

NCPA has some updated information on the Aetna/Coventry Medicare Part D network muddle from a call last week with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Effective 01/01/2015: SC PEBA will cover Zostavax (shingles vaccine) at a $0 copay to any members aged 60 and above. This applies to the Commercial and Medicare Part D plans.

The Payer Sheet for US Script Medicare Plans has been updated to reflect updated plan specific contact phone numbers.

If your pharmacy is a non-participating provider in the Aetna/Coventry 2015 Standard or Standard Preferred networks, you will be able to TEMPORARILY process claims for certain Coventry Medicare Part D members at Premier Preferred in-network reimbursement rates.
