Since 1984, APCI has been the ‘united voice of independent pharmacy’

APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

Express Scripts : Amerigroup Community Care Moving Georgia Members to New Pharmacy Network

Effective Dec. 1, 2017, Amerigroup Community Care (Amerigroup), in collaboration with Express Scripts, will move its Medicaid and Georgia Families 360 members in the state of Georgia to a custom pharmacy network which includes mass merchants, supermarket pharmacies, and regional and independent pharmacies.

CVS Caremark : PLAN UPDATE - For Specific Medicare Part D Plans COPAXONE® 40mg Injection

The generic for Copaxone 40mg injection recently became available in the marketplace; however, effective December 1, 2017, select Medicare Part D plans adjudicating claims through CVS Caremark® will continue to cover the brand name Copaxone 40mg injection at the Specialty Tier.
