Effective January 1, 2017, Basaglar INJ will become the preferred long-acting insulin product. Previously, BCBSIL Medicaid preferred Lantus, Levemir, and Toujeo. This change will apply to Medicaid Covered Persons of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois.

Please be aware that effective 1/1/2017, ID numbers will be changing for all PeaceHealth employees and dependents. Old ID numbers (beginning with 9HP) will not be mapped over and therefore will reject for NON-MATCHED MEMBER effective 1/1/2017.

To help cut down on disruption please ensure that, you and your staff, are asking to see each member’s new ID card.
