Since 1984, APCI has been the ‘united voice of independent pharmacy’

APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

Express Scripts: HealthKeepers, Inc. - Changes to Refill Too Soon Limits

Effective December 27th 2016

Beginning Dec. 27, 2016, HealthKeepers, Inc. will change its “Refills Allowed After” (i.e. Refill Too Soon) limits for Anthem HealthKeepers Plus members enrolled in its Medicaid plan.

Magellan Health: Legacy 4D Communication

Effective January 1st 2017

Effective January 1, 2017, Magellan Rx Management will commence the phased migration from the current 4D Pharmacy Management client using RxBIN 600428 to the Magellan RxBIN of 018810. Please update your prescription insurance information for each covered member as noted below at your pharmacy. Note that other legacy 4D Pharmacy Management clients, not yet indicated by us, will continue to use their existing RxBIN 600428 at this time. Below is a list of clients that will be using the new RxBIN.
