Since 1984, APCI has been the ‘united voice of independent pharmacy’

APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

Please disregard our previous notification about reviewing medications flagged with the reason code TD (Therapeutic Duplication) for UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Mississippi members. We previously notified you that as of June 1, 2016, you must review medications flagged with the reason code TD to resolve any duplication in the pharmacy system before dispensing the drug to a UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Mississippi member. $25 payment for Patient Acceptance of a Conversion


 The Aetna 30-90 Day Conversion Program will relaunch soon with the continuing goal of converting patients from a 30-day fill schedule to a 90-day fill schedule to promote patient adherence.   Cases will begin to arrive in pharmacy queues in mid-June, 2016.
