Dear Valued Provider, Effective January 1, 2016, Prime will begin processing claims for approximately 5,700 Commercial and 2,300 Medicare Part D Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) Covered Persons of American Cast Iron Pipe Company (ACIPCO), an employer group of BlueCross BlueShield of Alabama. Covered Persons will receive new ID cards.

Dear Valued Provider, Effective January 1, 2016, Prime will begin processing Commercial claims for approximately 25,000 Covered Persons of Barnabas Health, an employer group of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Covered Persons will receive new ID cards.

Effective January 1, 2016, two service area reductions will occur in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina Senior Market (BCBSNC) on the following plans. Blue Medicare PPO Enhanced plan will no longer be available in the following counties: Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Davie, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Greene, Halifax, Hyde, Johnston, Lincoln, Montgomery, New Hanover, Northampton, Pamlico, Pender, Perquimans, Stanly, Tyrrell, Union, Vance, Yadkin

Optum Rx will manage claims processing for members under Group Health’s new plans. Please note:  All members under Group Health Cooperative new plans (except those with Medicare Part D) and Group Health Options, Inc. new plans will receive a new member identification (ID) card as shown below.  Please process prescriptions online Group Health plans using the ID card information below.

Due to the high volume of cases in the Aetna 30-90 Day Conversion Program, we are providing additional time to complete these cases. We have extended all remaining Aetna 30-90 Day Conversion Program cases through Saturday, December 26, 2015. Any remaining cases will be removed from your queue after that date.
