Catamaran, an Optum Rx Company, is providing notice of COB Segment processing changes for Healthcare Alliance Medical Plan. These changes are being made to align with the HFS-IL Medicaid Third Party Liability Billing instructions. As a result it is important to note that Other Coverage Code (OCC) 8 COB claims will no longer be accepted and pharmacies must submit the applicable OCC 2, 3, or 4 after sending to the Primary Payer.
