APCI began as a small buying group for a limited number of independent pharmacies in central Alabama. Since that time, the cooperative has grown to more than 1,800 members pharmacies in 26 states, and provides its members with a wide range of products and services.

Our mission is to represent the economic and professional interests of independent pharmacies by providing leadership, vision, and a collective voice for our members in the healthcare marketplace. Our goal is to level the playing field for our member pharmacies by providing innovative, targeted programs to benefit our entire membership.

Prime Therapeutics: Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC)

BIN: 015905 - Claim Rejections Related to Member ID

Participating Pharmacies may be experiencing rejections when trying to process claims for Covered Persons of Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC).

The correct ID number contains the alpha character ‘W’ followed by a ten-digit number. The ten-digit number consists of the Covered Person ID followed by the relationship code found on the ID card.

US Script: Vaccination Coverage Update for Select Populations of Sunshine Health

Effective: 2/1/2015 BIN: 008019

Effective February 1, 2015, Sunshine Health will begin covering pneumococcal and varicella zoster vaccines for select populations in accordance with Managed Medical Assistance (MMA) expanded benefits and the Agency of Health Care Administration drug limitations. The vaccines in the table below are covered without a prior authorization. Vaccines for populations not listed in the attached PDF file will require a prior authorization.

US Script: Vaccination List Update for IlliniCare Health

Effective February 1, 2015, IlliniCare Health will begin covering several new vaccinations. These vaccinations must be administered according to state pharmacy regulations and appropriate dosage restrictions. You are obligated to report the administration of each vaccination within 30 days to the member’s primary healthcare provider*.
